due to the fact my dad found out he has Stage 4 Cancer
right before Christmas. We have been running
him to different appointments.

ReplyDeleteI just read your post about your dad and I wanted to write to say I'm so sorry for the pain you're going through. I didn't see any new posts--but I must also confess that I'm so new to all this stuff, that it's possible I just didn't know how to get to anything newer. I'm hoping my message gets to you somehow (new to posting as well).
My stepfather passed away February 20, 2010. It was very sudden and happened the way he hoped it would. But although he was 87 years of age and he told me that he wouldn't live forever, his death was still a shock to me. I miss him very much.
My mom passed away in July of 2011. I had cared for my parents for several years and it just didn't seem possible that they were now gone from my life. I still find myself wanting to call her to tell her about interesting things in my day.
I have always said that the greatest blessings in our life are the ones we miss so very much when they're no longer there. But I have faith that I will see them again when it's my turn to pass.
